Salicylic Acid
Salicylic Acid is a beta-hydroxy acid with keratolytic, anti-inflammatory and anti-acne properties. Due to salicylic acid being soluble in fats it can reduce follicle blockage by penetrating the pores which often causes acne. Furthermore, Salicylic acid has a direction inhibitory effect on acne causing bacteria.
Green Tea
An extract is used internationally in Cosmetics, as it is a rich source of antioxidants, such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Green tea extract is hailed in the Natural Skin Care Industry. Green tea extract is said to help repair the effects of aging and environmental factors. The active constituents in green tea are the Catechin - Polyphenols.
